RF3 Level IV Plate
Built for the highest level of protection, the Delta Defense RF3 Plate is tested under NIJ-STD-0101.07 Level RF3 (equivalent to Level IV) standards. It successfully stopped three hits of .30-06 APM2 armor-piercing rounds without any penetration, maintaining full structural integrity and backface deformation within safety limits. Ideal for military and high-threat law enforcement applications.
- Stops .30-06 APM2 armor-piercing rounds
- Certified to NIJ-STD-0101.07 Level RF3
- Stand-alone multi-hit performance
- No penetration in all tested impacts
- Designed for extreme ballistic protection scenarios
Advanced Ballistic Helmet
Designed for maximum head protection, the Delta Defense Advanced Ballistic Helmet was tested to NIJ-STD-0106.01 standards and successfully stopped 9mm FMJ rounds without penetration. In addition, the helmet underwent V50 ballistic limit testing using 17-grain FSP projectiles under STANAG 2920 protocols, achieving a V50 rating of 2,210 ft/s, indicating robust fragmentation resistance. The helmet demonstrated minimal backface deformation (as low as 3.7 mm), making it highly suitable for tactical and high-threat environments.
- 9mm FMJ and fragmentation protection
- NIJ-STD-0106.01 and STANAG 2920 compliant
- V50 ballistic limit: 2,210 ft/s
- Deformation as low as 3.7 mm
- Lightweight, padded, and designed for all-around coverage
HG2 Soft Armor Panel
Tested on January 23, 2025, the Delta Defense HG2 Soft Armor Panel consistently met the NIJ-STD-0101.07 Level HG2 (Modified) standard. Across multiple C2 and C4 size panels (both front and back), the armor successfully resisted six consecutive hits from .44 Magnum 240-grain SJHP rounds without penetration. Velocities were within the required range of 1400–1460 ft/s, and backface deformations remained controlled between 27.3 mm and 36.2 mm, confirming high multi-hit resilience and low blunt trauma.
- Certified to NIJ-STD-0101.07 Level HG2 (Modified)
- Stops .44 Magnum SJHP rounds — no penetration
- Tested across multiple panel sizes and orientations
- Consistent multi-hit performance
- Backface deformation controlled under 36.2 mm
Ballistic Helmet
The Delta Defense ballistic helmet demonstrated superior protection against 9mm FMJ rounds and fragmentation threats. In accordance with NIJ-STD-0106.01 (Modified), the helmet withstood multiple 9mm impacts without penetration, showing minimal backface deformation as low as 3.7 mm. In addition, the helmet underwent V50 ballistic limit testing under STANAG 2920 standards using 17-grain FSPs, achieving a V50 rating of 2,210 ft/s, confirming its capability to defend against high-velocity fragmentation.
- Stops 9mm FMJ rounds with no penetration
- Tested under NIJ-STD-0106.01 (Modified) standards
- V50 ballistic limit: 2,210 ft/s (17-grain FSPs)
- Minimal deformation: as low as 3.7 mm
- Proven performance in both handgun and fragment impact scenarios
